Why We Built This

I Web Quiz started from a simple observation: most people use the internet every day, but very few have a clear picture of how it actually works, how it developed, or what it means culturally.

We wanted to build something that makes internet literacy engaging. Not a textbook, not a certification course — just well-crafted quizzes and articles that make you think, and that leave you knowing something new.

The internet is one of the most transformative technologies in human history. It deserves thoughtful, clear content that helps people understand it better.

The Idea

The first informal quiz was shared among a small group of colleagues interested in tech history. The response was encouraging.

Early 2023

First Articles Published

We began writing editorial articles to accompany the quizzes — providing context and depth to the questions.

Mid 2023

Platform Launch

I Web Quiz launched publicly at iwebquiz.net with four quiz categories and an initial set of articles.

2025

Growing the Community

We expanded the team, added more quiz content, and focused on improving the reading and quiz experience.
